Parking
Parking at the Quay itself is extremely limited . . . there's virtually no chance of getting a space and your car only adds to the congestion. There are however many car parks nearby:-
Priory Car Park is adjacent to the Quomps
Mayors Mead Car Park (nr old Pontins site) is accessible from the junction of St Margarets Avenue, Wick Lane and Queen's Avenue (follow signs for Captains Club)
Sopers Lane Car Park is on the junction with Willow Way, and is a very pleasant 5min walk along the river bank in front of the Captains Club and Rowing Club.
Wick Lane car park, behind the Regent Centre, is 5mins walk away, accessible from Wick Lane.
Pitt Site car park is on the junction between Christchurch High Street and A35, and is a 10min walk
Saxon Square multi-story car park is accessible from the A35, and opposite is the Waitrose car park
Fun Options
Why not park at Tuckton and take a ferry trip down the picturesque River Stour ?
Or park at Wick Lane (Bournemouth) and take the 2min ferry across to the Captains Club ?
If you enjoy cruising, how about parking at Mudeford Quay and taking the ferries to Christchurch Quay
Note:-
On-road parking in the adjacent streets is limited to 2 hours only, and Christchurch's parking wardens are highly efficient.
